WPForms (Lite) and Elementor together make it easy to add clean, functional contact forms to your site. Follow these steps to build and embed your first form.
1. Install WPForms Lite
- Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → search “WPForms”.
- Install and Activate WPForms Lite.
2. Create a New Form
Go to WPForms → Add New → choose a “Simple Contact Form” template → save. Customize form fields (name, email, message) and notifications.
3. Configure Spam Protection
Enable reCAPTCHA or use WPForms’ honeypot feature (Settings → Spam Protection) to reduce spam entries.
4. Embed Form in Elementor
- Create or edit a page with Elementor.
- Search for the “WPForms” widget (Elementor free or Pro includes a shortcode widget) and drag it into your layout.
- Select your form from the dropdown or paste the WPForms shortcode.
5. Style the Form
Use Elementor controls to adjust spacing and section background; WPForms > Settings > General provides additional label and button text options. For fine-grained styling, add a few CSS rules to your theme or use customizer additional CSS.
6. Test & Publish
Submit a test entry to confirm email notifications work and that entries are saved under WPForms → Entries.
