Why choose DinoFolio?
1. Builder flexibility, not builder lock-in
Use Gutenberg alone. Or Elementor. Or WPBakery. Or a shortcode.
The portfolio engine stays the same, so you are not locked into one
editor forever.
2. Real portfolio structure, not fake cards
Projects live as a proper post type with taxonomies. That means better
organization, archives, filtering, and long-term maintainability than
stuffing everything into temporary page-builder widgets.
3. Fast setup for freelancers and agencies
Create categories, add projects, drop a listing on a page, adjust
Display and Query options, and ship. Defaults are configurable from
one settings screen.
4. Front-end polish included
Grid and Masonry layouts, optional lightbox, category filters, hover
treatments, and responsive behavior are built in — less custom CSS to
maintain on every client site.
5. Theme-friendly single pages
Customize single portfolio output by copying the template into your
theme at dinofolio/single-portfolio-meta.php. Keep
presentation flexible without forking the plugin.
6. Free and available on WordPress.org
Install from the official directory, receive updates through WordPress,
and keep your core portfolio workflow available without a paid dependency.
